yeah... im living in panama now man..

PROS:
cheap labor, maid, haircuts, food, beautiful women, uses usd$, dont have to worry about speeding tickets, etc..

CONS:
holes in the middle of the streets, missing manholes, lack of english(my spanish is very basic, still learning), rain everyday from may till december.. no hobbies to do there.. in USA i could do paintball, hang gliding, learn how to fly airplane, etc.. these guys here just drink from thur-sun and dance..

BTW are there any beach houses in SOBE? and how much rent?

I just want somewhere i can chill out, work, and enjoy the waves..and the people
Miami beach is perfect for you, and you will fit perfectly in this society. You are young, have your own business, a lot of time off to relax and enjoy the beach.

You don`t need to know any English in Miami.... the Cubans made Castellano an official language...well, English, Spanish, and Creole are the 3 official languages in this city.

With $2,000/rent youll will easily find a 1 bed apartment in Miami beach.

Mr. Manz

In Miami, the best place is Brickell, Brazilian type condos.
Near everything, safe, you can walk and rents start at 1.500.
In Latin America; Santa Marta, luscious beaches and condos, all sorts of aquatic activities, the place is safe.
Exhuberant night life.
Santa Marta is where rich Colombians live, also many Americans and Europeans.

SoBe = South beach (la playa and the nightclubs)..

Miami Beach is the city...

Miami Beach, Florida - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Anything close to "Ocean drive" (use that as a reference) is ideal for you.

Brickell is good too... Brickell, Miami, Florida - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Brickell is located in the financial district...home to many top restaurants and shops.

Mr. Manz

Well, those flats named Valencia remind me of some dreadful buildings we have in Benidorm, Valencia, Spain.

There are fabulous buildings in Brickell. Brickell is just besides everything.

As to South Beach, I lived there many years ago and I don't know know.

I watched a documentary about South Beach nowdays and I found the place disgusting. People were horrendous. But it was just a documentary. It seems that the place now is a hot spot for gays, body builders and rowdy people, not my guild. I also saw (on the documentary) a lot of fat AA and some Latins that were looking for problems that looked dangerous.

I also saw a lot of cops patrolling, and imagine, you can't drink a beer in the beach.

I live in a beach, Sitges, but we only have a season of about 3 months.
