There are also rafts for " people to back to Cuba" even those who speak Spanish but have never been there. Where have I heard that??

Maybe the positives are visiting this city is more enjoyable than living here, the idealization versus the realization just doesn't match up or meet one's expectations. The novelty wears off and it is like living in any big city.

Are there rafts for people to go to other places too? It might save on expensive plane tickets. Personally, I'd love a few days in the Bahamas...I wonder if I could find one of those rafts to take me there?

Ask Cuba Libre. He knows all that good stuff.

Positive things about Miami
- It doesn't snow
- Beaches
- Beautiful natural Parks (Everglades, Biscayne Bay etc)
- Close to Europe & Latin America
- You can learn and practice Spanish
- Close to that mouse in Orlando
- Big Metropolitan area with all kinds of restaurants you can think of
- Boating, fishing, snorkling, taking a cruise
- Nightlife doesn't end at 8:00 pm like in some other small cities
- Clean city
- Plenty of Middle and upper class neighborhoods
- Many retail stores available

I agree with most of your points, except for:

- There are actually *too* many retail stores available
- Miami isn't close to Europe
- I tried practicing Spanish here, but was ridiculed for it
- I like snow
