How/Where can I obtain a Stroller Parking Permit!? Pls Help!
I went on the biggest mission today trying to figure out where to obtain the Stroller Parking Permit. I googled before leaving the house and I read at any local DMV....WRONG!
I went to the DMV and they told me to go to any tag agency... I literally waited in line for an hour @ the tag agency and they sent me to some place called Team Metro... There's one in front of FIU.... so when I get there... I couldnt find the place, and someone in the plaza said all their offices closed! I googled their telephone number and when I call I get a disconnected msg.
Does anyone know where I can get this permit from? Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Thankfully Team Metro offices were closed. However, they have been renamed "neighborhood compliance" and relocated to government owned property to save money. I have not researched why Miami-dade county required baby stroller preferred parking next to the lazy people parking with the wheelchair icon. Call 311 for the county information line. I know that if it was up to me I would have removed all baby stroller parking spaces and restricted handicapped spaces to those confined to an actual wheelchair. Oh well that's how it was in the golden age of Miami.

Im sure you are not a mother tallrick.. thats why you speak that way. when your at walmart and its raining cats and dogs, to know that you have to sprint across america basically to get to your vehicle, the stroller parking makes it easier for us mothers. Do you have kids? are you even married? My husband at least would prefer for his wife and child not to get wet.. then again.. all people arent the same..
Besides, the state already invested in the green stroller parking signs.. lol.. it would cost them too much to take them all out and replace them with handicapped ones so I guess they are here to stay ((wink)) Thanks for the info! I wills surely reply once I get mine =)

Someone on oxygen should be able to park close, I don't believe that is what the other poster was saying. But, this stroller parking...give me a break! Deciding to have kids is not reason enough to deserve a close parking spot, IMHO.

For real. Ya know there are these nifty little contraptions called umbrellas that most folks use when it rains. The OP might want to check into one of those.
Seriously though, this country has gone mad with permits for people to be able to save a few feet of walking. Why does being married with children make someone equal to a legitimately handicapped person? Unless your Al Bundy this makes no sense. Obviously someone on oxygen or truly handicapped should have permits but I expect any day now to see permits for people with infected toe nails or a stubbed toe. It's really getting ridiculous.

I agree that the stroller parking is totally ridiculous. When it rains babies can get wet just like any other person.
And yes-I have 3 children who managed to survive getting wet when they were babies (we are in Broward).

What's the age limit for stroller parking? Now days children are so protected that their bodies don't build enough immunity, it's getting so out of hand, but anyways it doesn't bother me, they are not my children. Besides I don't like to park close, when I do someone always manages to scratch my car.

No sympathy from me. It's not like you're carrying the kids...they're in a stroller!!
