Hi everyone!
My best friend just got engaged (yeay) and we're starting to plan her wedding. She would like to have the ceremony and/or the dinner in a garden in Miami but we live in NYC and I don't know where to start looking. They are both finishing college and even though they have good jobs on the side, they can't spend that much money on the venue.
Does anyone knows where I should start looking?
A house with a garden would be great, and it doesn't have to be too big since the party will only count around 60 people.
thx so much!

I don't know about a house with a garden, but a couple of popular garden locations in Miami are Fairchild Tropical Garden (http://www.fairchildgarden.org/aboutfairchild/weddings/ - broken link)and Viscaya. You'd have to contact them about prices and see if they're in your friend's price range.

If you want a house with a garden, how about a wedding at a B&B? I don't know of any B&B's in Miami, but I know there are some in the Keys, particulary Key West, which could also be a good location for a wedding. Just a suggestion.

what heydade said. we utilized the winery for our daughter's wedding a few years back and it was a resounding success. the staff bent over backwards to accommodate last minute changes etc. and the venue has a certain understated elegance that is hard to beat.

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is incredibly beautiful. Many people have their weddings there. It is in southern Coral Gables.

I second Pinecrest Gardens in Pinecrest. In Coral Gables there is the Biltmore Hotel, its not a garden but very pretty and expensive though.
