Post N Miami HS reunion approaching...

Should I go?

Heard they're tearing the school down , and replacing it with a new building (although not on the same site)

Might be nice to run into a few old faces.

You should definitely go, dude.

They're tearing down N. Miami Middle & N. Miami High. They're going to build a North Miami Middle/Elementary on the school grounds of the current North Miami High. After they're done with the new K-8 center, they're going to demolish North Miami middle, Gribble Pool, and the Armory and build the new North Miami High on that area. Hope that made sense lol. They're also going to do a lot of remodeling to Cagni Park and the Library and all that good stuff. What graduating class were you in?

Scott Galvin lives a couple blocks away from me.

Check out the plans.

yeah..that made sense! We should go out there and at least save the frog pond...perhaps move it to an undisclosed location. (how about 85 St Beach in honor of all the times we skipped and hung out there)

Scott graduated a year before me. We were casual friends, but I doubt he'd remember me. On the other hand...he is a politician so who knows

Hahahh.. Skipping is something that is way too easy to do in North Miami. I can't believe Scott still lives in North Miami. I mean, I like it and all, but I can't imagine living the rest of my life here.

Wow, that school is going to be beautiful. It looks a little bit like Cypress Bay in Weston but more urban. Maybe the staff will be good too . I heard NM SHS current building is really bad shape now.a

Nah, he's a councilman. Nice guy.

Yeh, the old building is in pretty crappy shape.
