The lawn got a good long drink today. Good thing too. I took a walk around the neighborhood earlier in the day and couldn't get over how brown & dried out most of the lawns were. There were a few exceptions--these might be the ones who're watering outside the appointed times though

It's because people in Miami are lazy, they don't have to pay to get the grass cut if it doesn't grow!

what ticks me off is they cut it so damn short in our complex. they could be saving so much more water and it wouldnt turn into a fire hazard if they left it a bit taller so they ground isnt exposed to the sun which dries it out faster.
