That (now classic) song made Ricky Martin...

Perhaps some big hit from the Lady Gloria Estefan could suit well...

For those that dislike Miami but haven't relocated after a few decades, with or without you by U2

With or without you
I can't live
With or without you

Is that Gun n Roses classic suitable for the anthem of Miami...

Grass is the greeniest & the girls are some of the prettiest

You almost got it right Harry. I hear Guns & Roses every time I drive around the so called "magic" city but its "Welcome to the Jungle" baby!

"Welcome to the jungle
It gets worse here everyday
Ya learn ta live like an animal
In the jungle where we play
If you got a hunger for what you see
You'll take it eventually
You can have anything you want
But you better not take it from me!"

"You know where you are
You're in the jungle baby
You're gonna die
In the jungle
Welcome to the jungle
Watch it bring you to your shu n,n,n,,n,n,,n,n,n,,n,n,,n,n,,n knees, knees.

Unfortunately, this is what Miami has become these days!

Did everyone forget about Glenn Frey's "You Belong to the City" ..I think that was one of the songs for Miami Vice.

Also, can't forget the song that came out earlier this summer, LMFAO's "I'm in Miami *****"

I almost mentioned that song. Another great one that brings back memories. I can remember one time in particular when I had run away from home and as I was wandering some strip plaza the song was playing from some bar and I thought that song was meant for me. Something like walking along the streets with that playing in the background was just like taking an evening drive over the Rickenbacker with Phil Collins In The Air Tonight on the car stereo. You just never forget those types of moments.

Don't forget Lou Reed's "Walk on the Wild Side"

"Holly came from Miami FLA,
Hitchhiked her way across the USA...."

Though she/he ends up in NYC, the overall gay/transgender theme plays well with some elements of Miami. Really, MIAMI should be PROUD to get the NOD in such a GREAT TUNE....
