Mostly white cities near Miami?
I'm thinking of relocating to Fl. I want to be within an hour's drive to Miami Beach. I want to live in a mostly white city. And, I need it to be inexpensive. Looking for a little bungalow preferably or a condo with a pool. I like what I've seen online about Vero Beach but it's too far from Miami. Those of you who know the area... can you let me know of any mostly white cities near Miami?

85% of hispanics in Miami are white so you could just live in Miami Beach. The majority of hispanics in Miami tend to be of European descent, especially South Americans and Cubans

I recommend Miami Gardens, Goulds, Florida City, North Miami, Miramar, Lauderdale Lakes and Lauderhill.
Okay, but seriously, Cooper City or Boca Raton may be your only solid bet if you mean "white non Hispanic". There are other "white" areas but they are either crime ridden (yes, crime ridden) or expensive.

welll he seems to have a problem with minorities so you recommend Boca "Jewish heaven" Raton? Perhaps Davie in Broward? I wonder why he wants to live in a white city then go to a place like Miami Beach which is full of every minority practically known!By the way your first recommendations were hilarious. |

OP - Your going to have a hard time finding a mostly white area, as Miami-Dade is roughly 18% white, 62+% hispanic. There are pockets however. Many areas are mixed, but there are more whites on Miami Beach, maybe Aventura or Victoria Park (others may know the answer) East Kendall, Pinecest, Palmetto Bay, the Redlands. Broward and Palm Beach will have more white areas, but then you are getting further from Miami.

How about Maine Its a heck of a commute to miami, but it's what you are looking for. Miami isn't for you if your trying to avoid diversity.  |
