I do not know of any other Hispanics who say this ... I only know Cubans who say that and man I hate when they do that because it makes them look like arrogant idiots , which is too bad becuase I know some Cubans who are good people .

Don't forget Mr. Merrick the founder of Coral Gables the philanthropist responsible for that shining star in Dade County and the only place I really like a lot in Dade .

Those people made Miami into a small resort town, the latinos have made it a world class internationally known city.

A. I am not anti-social, far from it. More like the life of the party.
B. I don't blame the people around me.
C. I wish I could leave Miami, but it isn't that easy for everyone to just pick up and leave.
D. I would never live in Ocala, to many hicks, no great dining and shopping forget it...
E. Miami is not totally the city it is today because of the hispanic community. Like the pilot said Miami is what it is today from the 1980's because of the Cubans, and it has gone down hill for the most part, IMO.
F. I have traveled the world FYI, and I am not just a US citizen, I hold a passport from another country.
G. After my travels I have seen that Miami is much better than places in South/Central America (where many hispanics in Miami are from), but compared to places in the Europe, Asia (not all), Canada and other cities in this country. Miami isn't all it is cracked up to be.
H. Lets compare Miami to NYC, Chicago, Seattle, San Diego, San Fran, Denver, Boston, etc. Miami isn't that great compared to any of these cities IMO.

Guess what thats your opinion because the media and most people see Miami as a growing world class city. Its become more internationally known. Its progressed immensly, in no way has Miami gotten worse since the 80's, in the 80's you had time magazine saying paradise lost now you got the new york times saying miami is the next big think, sanfran globe saying miami is also the next big thing, more tv shows, more movies, more buisness, more people(but you guys see them as bad!?) a huge and growing arts scene and world class projects are going to be built or are being built just making it a better place.

Guess you didn't the article the Times had on Miami a few months ago. It basically said Miami is a mess.

JDMR09 well guess what I know people in each of those cities too that are from Miami. Guess what they would never move back to Miami, it has changed so much for the worse all of them said.

They hate Miami with a white hot passion but they're under house arrest, so they can't move--their ankle bracelets will set off an alarm and the SWAT team will move in if they leave the city limits...

It's so tragic....sob
