Default What is the cheapest car insurance in South Florida?

I'm looking for a cheap car insurance for two drivers, one has an accident on record. I have Geico but they want too much.

Progressive is usually the cheapest, but you remember you get what you pay for. The best thing is to shop around.

I set up a self-insurance bond because many companies denied me insurance with the excuse that my vehicles are too old. However, I have not caused an accident or had a ticket conviction since I started driving. The only drawback is that some idiot woman rear ended my car and tried to use the excuse that my taillights were not working despite me being at a red light with my foot off the brake ready to shift into first. It was easy to get the case dismissed because Florida law presumes guilt on anyone who rear-ends another car. I also took off a door from another dumb woman with extreme attitude who opened the door into traffic. She lost in court as well. Remember though that I only needed the 10/20K policy for state requirements and not full coverage as I never finance a car.

It is always a good idea to shop around, don't ever assume that all insurance rates are the same and just pay the for the first quote you hear. One can have an excellent driving record and that is a good thing for we all pay for other's accident and for the fact that living in large cities rates will be higher.

AAA in South Florida beat my Liberty Mutual rate by 50% and you actually don't need to be a AAA member in order to get it, they contract through Progressive, but I believe my rate is lower than if I just went directly through Progressive, email me if you'd like my ins. agent's contact info

I vote for USAA. They may not be the cheapest, but they are the best. Do you have familial connections to the Military? You need them to take out an Auto policy but you anyone is able bank with USAA.
