Question Morning traffic southbound on 826 and 836 west

Hi all,

I'm new to the area and I'm trying to figure out the best route and approximate commute time from south Hialeah (btween Okeechobee & Le Jeune) to Fountainbleau ( at Flagler & NW 87 ave).

Google maps shows me three different routes averaging 9 miles and 18 minute drive but I'm sure commute time will be much longer because of morning traffic.

-In Miami what time is rush hour in the mornings?

-is it a good idea to jump on 826 south from Hialeah expressway to 836 west?

-Lejeune south to 836 west?

-Nw 36th st to 826s to 836w?

Sorry to bombard you with all these questions, but I'm looking for some suggestions. I'll greatly appreciate any feedback from anyone in the area.

Thank you.

-In Miami what time is rush hour in the mornings? Rush hour starts from 5 am to 10 am, the worst being from 7 to 9:30, leave your hourse minimum 1 hour before.

Totally agree on adding at least 45 minutes - 1 hour to your commute...pretty much from any part of Miami! Better safe than sorry!

There is a way that you can take the perimeter road parallel to NW 36 street in Miami Springs (Virginia Gardens), and snake all the way around the airport. Eventually you will end up in front of the Bally fitness on NW 12 street and about 79 avenue. From there it will just be west about a mile, then south. There is construction around that area but maybe this will be a good alternative for you considering your starting point is close to nw 36 street.

LeJeune Rd is a real pain until you pass the 36st light. After that I don't think there is any lights or even traffic. Going through Miami Springs back roads to avoid Lejeune might be quicker depending on what part of East Hialeah you live.

Forget perimeter road, you are better off taking 826 South. the 12 street & 87 ave intersection is a nightmare because of Walmart.

Or depending on if you get pulled over or not.

I know I was gonna write something about that actually. You really have to watch your speed limit in Miami Springs. 1 or 2 extra miles will get you a ticket.
