Default 26 single no kids working at Bal Harbour - Where to live?

I live up in Palm Beach and I've accepted a job at Bal Harbour. I plan on commuting for the first couple of months to see where I want to live - what are my options? From reading the posts it seems like Brickell is mostly Latin/Spanish, which I'm not.
I'm 26 single, no kids, white & non-spanish speaking, I need a cool, hip, artsy place with bars and whatnot. Is Lincoln Rd or Washington my best best?

Brickell is probably 2/3 Latin (mostly white, if race matters to you) and 1/3 non-Latin white. Pretty much everyone speaks English though, and it's an upscale area, so there's really no reason to avoid the area for the reasons you stated.

You should consider Brickell, South Beach, North Beach, Bay Harbor Islands, and Coconut Grove areas.

Not if you want a one-year lease.

Brickell is quite nice. You wouldn't really know the majority is Latin unless you asked. They're Latin in the way a white dude in Boston is Irish.

I'm partial to Miami Beach. South Beach is nice (especially south of 5th and along the west coast). The 67th - 73rd st areas are growing on me too. Great restaurants etc and less expensive.

Sounds like South Beach is a good fit for you. I would look into that area.
