Hi,

My wife and I will be in Coral Gables for a few days next month. I can get a gift card to either of these restaurants. I was wondering if anyone would have a recommendation about either of these two specific restaurants?

We like Ruth Chris over Mortons, anything in butter is always good. Flemings is also in the Gables and is good too, a little cheaper than Ruth Chris.

I would recommend Ruth because their side items are more delicious. Both offer superb cuts of beef, cooked to your order. But Ruth serves you in a sizzling platter which they claim ill keep your last bite of steak as warm as the first bite.
Another thing, Ruth seems more reasonably priced that Morton's.
Enjoy!

I've not been to the morton's here, but the ruth's chris offered nice service and a nice atmosphere (of the two chains, that would be my choice). However, the steaks were just OK, not out of this world (I was not a fan of the butter, although I did like the fact the steaks were sizzling. You can request less butter if you like). Deserts were great, sides: so-so.

I think Fleming's (also a chain) is the best of the three (cheaper, livelier, and tastes slightly better).
