Gimme a Whopper, fries — and a beer.

Those words are no longer wishful thinking. Friday, Burger King (BKC) will unveil plans to sell beer and burgers at a Whopper Bar — a new BK concept to compete with casual dining restaurants — in Miami Beach's tourist-heavy South Beach.

For those interested, they are having a "CASTING CALL" for the Management Team there.
Check on the BK website under "careers".
For someone who likes that kind of thing, this job could make fast food more palatable (no pun intended) to the job seeking professional.

They shouldn't allow fast food restaurants and chains in MB.

well considering Burger King is a Miami based company it only makes sense to serve beer & burgers on the beach!

What? Why not? Every city has a burger king, why shouldnt there be one in Miami Bch?

I dont agree with BK serving beer though. I think it's a bad idea. More places to get beer in the 'hit n run' capital? I just dont see how that's a good thing.

I think there's one there already.

I don't like the concept at all. Probably their target are tourists. I know in Spain you can order beer in Burger King and I think in McDonalds too. Over there they see anything American and go crazy. McDonalds profits come mostly from European sales.
