And I'm not talking about the weather. What a great time to be in Miami. The weather has been awesome. Cool and breezie. Watching my palms swaying in my backyard.

I just cruised down Biscayne Blvd from NE 100 Street heading to West Kendall and I couldn't believe how much Biscayne Blvd has changed for the better. The run down apartments have been turned into luxury condos and upscale restaurants. The area by Bayside is stunning! All those new condos and buildings are magnificant. I felt like I was in another city. I kept cruising over the bridge and into the bank district and there were people on both sides of the street walking and riding bike. Further down on Brickell Ave, more families and singles walking and riding bicycle and enjoying the beautiful day. Kept driving down Bayshore Drive to Coconut Grove and more of the same. People everywhere. Just a great festive atmosphere in South Florida. Football fans everywhere.
Great time to be in Miami! If you are planning to visit, come on down. We have a couple of more beautiful months until the hot steamy summer rolls in.
As a Cowboys fan I"m rooting for the NFC. Plus the Cowboys beat the Saints Go Saints!

Yeah, especially if you care to get out of this kind of weather which is occurring in DC as we speak (converse).

Just don't turn right off of Biscayne Blvd It's amazing what a difference 1-2 blocks makes here. The good areas in the city itself are very sparse. But I'll agree with you, the Boulevard has improved much since when I was growing up.

I've always loved Miami Beach especially when the Midwest is snowed in.

You're so lucky. I wish I were in Miami right now. I can't even dig my little cutie car out of my parking spot. Stupid snow.

For all you positive people out there, send some light and prayer up so that I can get the hell out of DC and down to Miami ASAP!!!

After all, my fine ass belongs in a bikini, not in a heavy coat and snow gear.
