Default Senior Citizen Population

Is there a large number of senior citizens in the Miami/ Ft Lauderdale area?

In the Miami area, not anymore. In the Ft. Lauderdale area, it's old people heaven.

Miami doesn't have the same large senior populations as it has had in years past. If you go up the coast to Ft. Lauderdale you start to see the older crowd more so, but still not like it was in years past. People are retiring to different places now, South Florida doesn't have the same cache or importance as it did years ago to previous generations.

Not in the Miami area, but in the Ft. Lauderdale area, it's nothing but seniors.
