Default Details on Marlins' Ballpark

I would like to know how Marlins' Ballpark broke ground in 2009 and it's estimated date to open is 2012, when Barclays Center broke ground in 2010 and is estimated to open in 2011. How the BLEEP! Can someone please explain and honestly please thank you

the Marlins ballpark is being built faster than expected. Where is the Barclays Center and will it have a retractable roof like Miami's? I think that would be an issue and the Marlins still have a contract at the old stadium so what is the rush.

Barclays Center is in Brooklyn, and no I believe it will not have a retractable roof.
The contract ends in 2010 but the stadium SUPPOSEDLY won't be ready until 2012 HOW!?!?!?!? can someone please tell me why and how it is that way!?

I agree with that. They should have left the good ol' LANDMARK Orange Bowl and had the Marlins play there. Change what you want to it, but having the Marlins play there would have been a lot cheaper.

While I also think the Marlins' ballpark is a waste of money, no way should a professional team have played in that rathole. Personally I think they're fine in SunLife.

That's a basketball arena, much smaller in size with no retractable roof. The projected time from breaking ground to opening for this arena is 1 year and 8 months, for the Marlins Stadium it's 2 years and 9 months for how much more bigger and complex the building is it's not that much more. One thing for sure is the Marlins stadium better be ahead of construction right now cause when the summer months begin and it's raining all the time they are for sure going to get delayed. As for the Barclay's arena even though it's supposed to open late 2011,from what I hear there has been some delays and probably won't open until 2012.I don't know if that means in the middle of the 2011/2012 season or for the start of the 2012 season late in the year.
