Default Alma Michigan James J St Croix

I am a UK based transportation historian trying to trace relatives of:
JAMES ST CROIX 369-07-7442 Born September 26, 1894, Died June 1, 1966 71 years MI (48801 (Alma, Gratiot County)

A James J. St Croix was employed by the Yellow Truck and Coach Mfg Co, a subsidiary of General Motors, as a bus designer in the 1920s and 30s. I would like to write an article on his work but so far my research has only produced some of his designs but nothing biographical. If the Mr St Croix from Alma was the same person I would welcome any leads that would help me contact his surviving relatives or alternatively a library that has records of his work.

Many thanks

Malcolm Thwaite

I would start by contacting the County clerks or the City of Alma's office , maybe they could shed some light or maybe direct you to a local historical society . I looked briefly at rootsweb.com and ancestry.com and there was very much with that name . Good luck
