I worked for Ford Motor Co. took their offer and moved to San antonio,Texas got a job working for a Toyota Supplier at their new plant.San Antonio Is a beautiful city and is growing and building like crazy.You get twice the home for what you pay in Michigan.

Can I ask if you bought or rented in SA? I am moving from Grand Rapids down to S.A. in mid-August. I will definately be renting for a few years and wondering if you have any suggestions. A friend of mine lives down there and I'll have some time to live w/her before picking an apartment.

Any culture shock thus far? I've visited several times and wonder what the differences will be between visiting and living.

How are you handling the heat? Coming down in mid-August, I need to be prepared!!
