Just arrived back today from a trip to my home state of Michigan.
Drove up to Lansing spent the night and then drove up to the UP to Mackinac City,St Ignace.

After spending the night in St.Ignace we drove up 1-75 north and then west out to M-123 towards Moran to visit my GreatGrandfather Chief Joesph Santigo's lake which is off Santigo/Belonga rd.In order to get to the lake we had to get permission from one of the property owners. When we drove down the access road that led down to the lake we parked at a fire ring near a old garvel pit and proceeded to walk down a trail. About 2 to 3 yards into the 25 yard walk I just happened to look down and saw what looked like a pile of poop.I looked up at my b/f and pointed to the pile and he replied back to me that it came from something alot taller than he was.(And he's 6ft tall.lol)
I knew exactly to what he was referring to.We weren't about to stick around to find out just how big the bear was.We just did a complete 180 turn and got the heck out of there.

For some reason I got this funny feeling and felt as if someone or something was watching us so we decided not to walk the rest of the 22 yards down to the lake.In spite of what could've taken place the trip as a whole was lot of fun.
