Oakland County in the 50's wasn't all that close to the city. Parts of it were quite rural. And remember, I was looking through the eyes of a child, not a snowbird.

Its kinda nice to be sitting on the couch , having coffee and watching those huge snow flakes coming down , this morning ,....knowing all the time that the ground is still too warm for any accumulation.

Default B-e-a_utiful!

Wonderful snowy scenes!!!!!!!!!! I am soooooo excited. I read that we have a 20% chance of snow on Friday in the Lansing area. I know that's about as low of a chance as we can get... but I am always the optimist and am holding on to that 20%!!

Ouch - I can't stand winter, but I don't mind a bit of snow for the holidays. After Christmas though, I wish the snow would cease. I'm hoping for some sort of long-term climate change here in Michigan, so that we become more semi-tropical. I love hot, humid weather and Michigan summers definitely deliver on that. Any temps below 70, I find frigid - brrrrrrrrrr.
