Need some help!
I am wanting to take my Family on a Vacation to Mich. Any suggestions on where to go. Our Vacation requirements are rest and relaxation. A nice Hotel/B&B on Lake Michigan. 3-4hr drive MAX from Chicago.

I know this is outside your drive time...but so worth the added hour or two....very secluded area and numerous choices for lakeside homes...click here and take a look....

Between Arcadia and Frankfort....absolutely no traffic up that way....

Pentwater is a cool little town with a waterfront community feel. Silver Lake with the dunes is nice beaches. Was there in beginning of July. Water was warm lots of vacationers. Beautiful area of Lake Michigan.

I'd stay away from Silver Lake unless you like dune buggy noises.

Instead, check out Ludington, Manistee, or Grand Haven.
