I live in Sumpter Township in SW Wayne county, AG zoned, and dirt roads.
My commute to Dearborn is about a half hour under good conditions. I lived at 26 Mile and Van **** and that was about an hour under good conditions. 3 hours in one snowstorm even 4WD has its limitations when the roads are choked with cars.
I 275 has little traffic south of I94. I75 is under a lot of construction now in the downriver area with many of the ramps closed and single lanes.
Living where we do we shop in Toledo and Monroe and rarely go North of I94.
I don't envy you on the commute to Warren, from downriver it will be a crapshoot however you go.
