Glad I moved out a few years ago. Its soooo nice and sunny here. Maybe you will get lucky and the snow will collapse your roof and you can get a few $ out of your homes. LOL Now that homes are almost worthless in MI. Hows that hopey changey thing working for ya?

My dreams of moving to TN were shattered last year by those aforementioned "worthless" homes that we couldn't give away, but man, take it easy. I don't like MI either, and will leave at some point, but rubbing salt in the wound isn't cool either.

Sorry to you TNKY but there are people here like Magellan who spew this crap about how great the state is when its garbage and then banns people for decent. Home values have fallen everywhere to some extent but MI now took NO1 from Nevada again in Foreclosures. My advise is get out asap. At least in Florida produce is cheap and if you are gong to live is a poor state with falling home values its better to be warm. I would rather look at palm trees than 5 foot snow banks and listen to Megellan tell us how great the kings new cloths are. LOL

What issue? All you've brought up is some aimless drivel, misspellings and a few childish insults. What are you, 14 and bored?

I like winter, enjoyed a sunny, snowy walk with my dogs this morning, and got a fantastic deal on a house last summer on almost a third of an acre. I dislike Florida, you couldn't pay me enough to move there even if you gave me a free house.

Notice I am not insulting you for liking a state I don't care for. Have a lovely day!

I bought my house in Harper Woods for $28,500 in 2008 and sold it in 2010 for $50,000. In two years I made a 40% return on investment. I love Michigan real estate. What other investments give me a 40% return in two years besides my Ford stock?

It doesn't matter what you say to him, assuming it's a him. It's he who refuses to listen to anyone else's viewpoint. Cognitive Dissonance I think it's called?
