You really don't adjust to the weather. You just accept it I guess. I am a person who is tend to be cold and so don't think it is the heat but the combo of heat/humidity. Though I tend to stay inside a lot so who knows. I lived in MI for almost 30 years and never on one day was it as humid as it is here in FL. I am looking forward to being back in MI full time. Winter is not my favorite time of the year but overall MI is better for me.
Luzette I did the winter in FL only and then MI the rest of the year before. Winter in FL is nice weather wise. Some days it is even cool which is breath of fresh air. You should see how people bundle up though it is funny. It gets really busy in FL during in season and prices for rentals or hotels really go up. Then summer comes and people go back up north.

It certainly turned out to be a nice weekend. 70s-80s, clear skies. Went camping, swimming, fishing, picknicking, worked on the car, worked on the yard. Barely spent any time in the house. Hoping for more of the same.
