I say close all the junkyards down in the other states, put a 8 foot fence around MI and just designate it the nations salvage yard since most of the junk was manufactured here anyhow. The problem with giving MI to Canada is they might try and give it back.

I know this whole thread is just sarcasm, but actually the Great Lakes water levels are up this year by almost a foot, the Canadian garbage is being phased out, and Arizona (or any other landlocked state) is going to find it much harder to tap into the lakes due to The Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Basin Water Resources Compact.

Perhaps those evil southerners ought to quit purchasing your Michigan-made autos, cereal, pharmaceuticals, and a myriad of other products and finish the job off.

I don't think everyone is going to leave. Some people like MI no matter what.

Please do!
Which will put people out of work all over the Southern US, because there are auto plants all over the US and not just Michigan. Suppliers, assembly, etc.... There is no real regional or state specific product that is produced for National and international consumption, it is a huge network that involves a lot of different states. Plus it would take more than a childish boycott od MI products by the Southern state to "Finish the job off" (plus ya'll have come to depend on most of those products anyway.)
