Default Car show in Flint

I am absolutely loving it. I have never seen so many classic cars..all colors.

I dont know what people are talking about when they say flint is dangerous. Its a very friendly town with a lot going on. Go Flint!

Maybe they mean something like this...

Flint Police investigating a double shooting : News : ConnectMidMichigan.com

or this

With bullet scars and street swagger, Flint man captures attention of struggling youths | MLive.com

or this

9&10 News - 2 arraigned in fatal shooting of retired deputy

or even this

35-year-old man in critical condition after shooting in Flint | MLive.com

Hmm, apparently a line of pretty cars can't stop bullets! Fascinating!

Some people just don't like to hear anything good about a place, that's all. We all know about Flint's problems, that's nothing new. When someone actually has something good to say and lets others know that no place is all bad and can, in fact, be pretty good, some people just don't like it.

Personally, I'm glad you had a good time. I know that Flint has its problems with poverty and crime--I guess no other city in America ever has shootings???--, but there really are some nice areas there, don't let anyone try to tell you otherwise. And the outlying areas around Flint, such as Shiawassee County, are some of the nicest, safest parts of Michigan.

Way to get out and see for yourself what your new state has to offer instead of listening to only half of the story and succumbing to the negativity of some people. I hope you continue to see and enjoy all of the great things that Michigan has to offer.

Flint is full of good people...unfortunately its the bad people that give Flint the bad reputation.
