Default Unions a good thing?

The second highest unemployment rate in the country.
Rampant foreclosures, and folks leaving Michigan at a record pace.
Cities going broke, the state getting ready to shut down.
Roads in horrible shape.

Union Yes!

New Jersey and New York are pro union states....They seem to be doing pretty well. Jersey leads the nation in per capita income.

Hmm, New York is the financial capital of the world, and a ton of New Jersey folks actually work in New York. NY and NJ are coastal states, which MIchigan is in the midwest. Comparing Michigan with NY and NJ is a terrible idea, IMO. Other than having a liberal outlook toward unions, how are the states alike?
