Howdy neighbors! I live very close to Cadillac, near McBain; before that I lived in Lake City. The world gets smaller every day!

Close to Cadillac, near McBain??? Wouldn't be by Lucas would it? I spent a summer living in Lucas years ago.

Very small world. Do you remember the paper the Lake City had? (Might still have for all I know) My mother was a reporter/photographer for them back in the 70's when we went through that whole PBB thing.

Yes, near Lucas. I haven't picked up a Lake City paper in quite awhile. I think it's the MissaukeeSentinel. Before that it was the Waterfront??? The PBB thing happened before I was living in the area, but I heard about it.

I was in Cadillac last year. I have some old school friends(Selma 5, Kenwood, Cadillac HS) that work at the,,,,is it "4 Star or 4 Winds Boat factory.
My Grandfather owned "Caberfae Ski Resort" back in the 60's. My mother worked at "The Water Front"(restraunt) and my step dad worked for "Wexford County Road Commission".

One of those friend lived as a kid on the corner of W Division and Leeson Ave. I was born on the corner of Lake and Pine St. across from the old Kraft Co. and the Train station. I think there's a Medical clinic sitting were the house was. Later we lived Cody St, then Sunburg St and then on a farm in Selma Twp out by Meawuataka.
Is "Diggins Hill" still up by the water tower?
You may have heard or read in the paper a few years back about another friend of mine, during Bow hunting season was knock from a tree blind and paralized. He lives in Cheboygan now(Rick Velfling).

McKinley was there in the 60's.

I'm sure that Im older than you. I.ll just say that, I'm not old enough to be concider a "Baby Boomer", but I remember when Leeson Ave was put in, and Elm Rest had bears caged out front. And you could still hear the jets breaking the sound barrier.

BTW I can tell you that the winters down here are much more mild than in Michigan
