My wife and I moved to K.I. Sawyer from Mesa AZ. in December thats right December lol of 2006 we love it here. Our Daughter and her family followed in June of 2007. The grandkids love the snow in winter and the boat in summer. Granted Sawyer could use a few small businesses and I am sure they will start coming as the population grows.
As for the mention of gangs obviously from someone that has never actually seen a gang. From what I have seen its just a bunch of bored kids with noplace to go other than the Salvation Army recreation hall. Let an arcade open up giving them someplace to go or a small computer center even a bowling ally would be nice. And a gas station would also be a big plus for the community.
Back to the gang issue after living in both Detroit most of my life and 10 years in Phoenix/Mesa Arizona there aint no gangs here trust me.

Roscommon/Houghton Lake area - born in Grayling, lived in Roscommon County my whole life. Leaving after college is over so I can find a job that isn't nursing or retail

Hello all I'm new here. I live in Detroit, on the Southwest side of the city. I grew up in Troy, Michigan and after college moved to the city. Detroit has been a fascinating place to live. So many challenges for the folks who live here, yet so many good caring people.

Petoskey, the jewel of the northern LP! Never dreamed I'd live in such a gorgeous place! Well, that's not true or else I wouldn't be here!

Dearborn Heights, a few blocks from the Garden City border, and I consider myself a resident of Garden City.

Kalamazoo is about a hour drive to Berrien Springs. Why?
