I know where Lake is, just went through your neck of the wood a few weeks ago.

Right now I am stuck in the armpit of the world (Northern Maine) but was born and raised in Scottville (Over by Ludington), Graduated from Sault Ste. Marie, and lived in McBain (extra points if you know where that is) for a couple of years. Lived in Gaylord for a few years after school, and also worked in Battle Creek for a time. My family and I are looking forward to getting back home to West Michigan next fall as soon as work contracts are up out here. Just spent almost a month in pure heaven back in Scottville, and cannot wait to get back to friends and family in the area.

Currently live in Plymouth. Also lived in Detroit ( grew up there when the schools were GREAT) Livonia, Ann Arbor and Saline. Lived for four years in Las Vegas and one year in Phoenix. Love living in Michigan and, it is not cheap to live in Las Vegas and or Phoenix. People not as friendly as they are here.

I've lived in Detroit, Westland and Garden City.

I want to move out of state and try living in different regions of the USA.

Default Points for me!!

Bydand, I get points because I know where McBain is! My family and I intentionally picked that area to move to 13 years ago.
We love having cows and horses for neighbors, and seeing great sunsets and the Milky Way.
Went through Scottville today, on the way to a school field trip to Ludington State Park (now there's a Michigan gem). The salmon are running in the river! Pretty awesome to watch the fishermen/women catch them.

bahbay is on a distinguished road
Hi everybody,

I was born on a farm in Farmington (actually corner of 12 mile Rd and Haggerty Rd), lived in NW Detroit for awhile, and moved to San Francisco 33 years ago.

I'm coming to the Detroit area next week to check out some properties in Grosse Pointe Woods and Albion, MI.

I'm intrigued by the dynamics of the whole Michigan area and want to see and feel what being there at this time is like.

This forum is an unbelievable asset and a valuable tool for insight into the many facets of life today in Michigan. I thank all who participate and look forward to hanging out for awhile.http://pics3.city-data.com/forum/ima...ons/icon14.gif

See you soon,

Bob A
