States "D" can be scary and should stop Michigans run game and make Denard throw...which is also scary. If Mich cant run, and Denard is forced to pass, he may throw 5 interceptions. If Michigan can stop States run game and force Cousin to throw...he may throw 5 interceptions. I'm gonna go with the better defense in this one....State 24-Mich-23

Who wins? EVERYBODY! Every fan will win because it promises to be a great game. I'm rooting for MSU, but in the end it really doesn't matter to me.

I have personal connections to both universities but they are far stronger with U-M so that's where my heart will be Saturday. While you could argue that U-M hasn't been tested by the hostile environments MSU has seen so far (@OSU and @ND compared to @NW), the stars seem to be aligning for the Wolverines, so here's to their great start continuing!

Michigan 21
MSU 17

Even Brady Hoke says Mich is overrated, and they are, even though they're much better than last year. 5 straight home games to open the season is ridiculous..... who makes these schedules? Notre Dame is the best team they've beaten, and they're not that great, even though they pounded MSU. The other teams they've played are pure crap. I just don't see Denard having success against that MSU defense. Like someone else said, he'll have to throw a lot, and that's bad news for Mich. He can't see over the OL and just heaves it up there half the time. MSU 30, Mich 13. I'm a Michigan fan, btw.....but just trying to be realistic about this one. No one wants them to win more than I do.

I think it will be a brutal struggle. MSU has a good defense, but Cousins does not have an impressive game. Watching him against the really not great Ohio State defense team was agony. Both QBs will have to rely on their passing game, both QBs have a chance of high interceptions. I think Michigan may have a 1 up on their running game as long as they can bypass MSU's defense.

Mich 17
MSU 14

No matter who I think might win, I only cheer for one: MSU

I haven't paid one iota attention to MSU this season, so don't know how the players have been,,, I am a Wolverines fan & will stick with them to win. Should be a good game to watch, especially if Denard & the whole team can get the game dialed in & right on the mark.
