Ford Motor closing another plant

If a nuclear plant is decent for the economy and safety is take into account(Three Mile Island,PA, Chornobyl,Ukraine are big examples), then a nuclear plant could be nice.
Enough with being off topic. Now lets go back to the Ford plant closing. The solution to Michigan's economy;bring in small businesses as well as big ones.

Great example's,the queston is not have you done,but what do we need to do?Obviously there are a few problem's with Michigan,and they need to be corrected,not fixed.When you fix something,that mean's it is broken,Michigan is not broken,and it will never be broken,either will it's people.The overall picture to be viewed here is to kickstart the economy,and how do we do that?Well the first thing we have to do is look at other states for this example.What is the one thing that give's other states's a robust economy?Construction.Every State with construction on the book's has a healthy economy.The second thing to be done?Attraction.Make Michigan more appealing to companies and people.Show off the Michigan work ethic,it's natural resources,and it's tourism.Not enough is being put into play on the latter issue.These are just beginning step's to correct michigan's problem's.There is much more but,but that is for another time.AS i said before people.

Some of you are a bit to snobby with regards to American cars. The cocky happy tone some of you use when writing about their current situation is tacky at best. Most of you can't even afford those nifty imports you LEASE because your so superficial your car is how you prove you have a credit car and debt....you probably bought or rent all the house you can too....it's appearance no substance fools. I'll take my Chevy, Pontiac 4000 sq ft house and 900 dollar mortgage with my 7 figure 401K before I'm even closed to 50 and you can rent you BEEEMMEERRRR or LEEEEEXXXXUUUUSSSS and rent your crappy apt and retire on SS.....but hey you fools looked good getting there. Oh and my peers that can actually afford the image and choose too....that's different and you know what I mean. I had my German, Swedish and Japanese cars too...but now my values have changed and those pedestrian American cars work just fine for me now. Substance over style any day.

I saw a documentary called "who killed the electric car" and watched as the Detroit big three went to court with the help of the Bush administration, to fight the California 0 emissions law. Once they beat California back, GM and Ford recalled the EV1 and fords electric truck leases and destroyed them.
The owners offered 1.9 million dollars to keep the 79 EV1s,GM declined.
Then the battery company that GM bought 60% off, they sold to guess who?........ Yep Texaco,Chevron. And they killed the company. And you conservative idiots say there is nothing like big business. Get a clue, there is a big club and you aint in it, even though you regurgitate Limbaugh and hannitys crap back out of your mouth. I would not vote for a republican if you had a gun to my head. And no one who works for a living should either if they had a brain. This country had been handed over to the corporations and given the go ahead to do what ever they want.
We are still giving [under bush direction] big oil subsidies. Can you imagine giving oil companies who have reaped the biggest profits in its history "subsidies?"

At least free enterprise is free somewhere in the world.
When big oil and auto corporations our "freemarket" the same freemarket that the hannitys and Limbaugh's say is the foundation of this country, then we do not have a level playing field.
