The lake effect should start kicking in up here this next week also. I sure hope so, getting sick of this winter, or better, lack of winter.

After taking it away briefly yesterday/last night, the mdoels now again show the Detroit area seeing 3-5" of snow this evening.

A quick hitting 3-5" of snow that is...

Well the snow in the Lansing vicinity is gone And the 15 day forecast model doesn't show any note-worthy snowfall to come. If we don't have snow on Christmas I may break down and cry uncontrollably. You have all been forewarned!

We have about an inch on the ground from yesterday. Calling for up to 6" starting tonight.

Oh, and the ski resorts are opening this weekend.

Christmas was beautiful and white last year... I reckon I'll just hope for the best and have my hissy-fit throwing clothes packed just in case. LOL

We received 3.4" Monday evening here in Detroit (seasonal total now of 4.2"), but it all melted faster than an ice cube in hell.

So we're pretty back in the same boat as everyone else.
