Default Looking for apple orchard to visit
Coming up to Michigan the first week of October and my wife and I want to go to an Apple Orchard. We'll be staying in Ann Arbor, but will be driving up to Frankenmuth one day to go to the Christmas House there and would like to find a nice Apple Orchard somewhere between the two. I know that there is the Wiard's Orchard, but that's a little South of Ann Arbor. We don't mind driving out of the way to find one either, so any suggestions are welcome.

My childhood cider mill is still in operation Diehl's Orchard in Holly. It, most likely would be a nice drive at that time of year. My favorite memory is watching their machine fry donuts...I loved watching in spin them around and then flip them. There is nothing like a fresh, warm cinnamon donut and cold cider. Enjoy!
