Although its more a popularity contest because there is no way anyone can know about all beers in all these cities, I have to say the Michigan beer scene is amazing...and exciting! I am LOVING what is going on in Michigan these days. I remember tasting my buddies "basement brew" many, many years ago at his house, and I have to say...it really sucked...lol But now he owns Right Brain Brewery in TC, and they are now moving to another spot in TC and expanding. I voted for GR because I know there is probably not a hotter state in the country for micro breweries.

It's also awesome that Michigan has great coffee companies. We've got it all with wonderful wines, beer and coffee.

Beer related tourism is becoming a big industry. Founders and Hopcat already draw quite a beer following to the area because of the national awards they keep winning. And there are five new breweries (I think) in the works for Grand Rapids right now. This is pretty cool!
