Default Quality of Auburn Hills area?

Hi, I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, I'm just trying to get some information on auburn hills neighborhoods. We are looking at a house in Auburn hills, right around auburn and opdyke and we just want to know if other people think this is a good area to live in. It's our first home so we are nervous and want to be as thorough as possible. It's avondale schools, which are certainly not bad as far as I know.

Thank you for any help you can offer! Again, I apologize if I posted in the wrong area.

Nice area - close to freeways (75/M59), close to shopping, chain restaurants - a tad sterile - but a perfectly safe suburban area. Sounds like you're married already "our home" - so will fit you perfectly. It's not a place where 20/30 singles hang out/live. It's where they move once they're married and ready for kids.
