Default New Income TAXES and now they are talking

Well those MORONS in Lansing have some Balls, well they upped the Income Taxes3.9% to 4.3% as of yesterday, and now they are talking about raising the Sales Taxes from 6% to 7% so when do they take a PAY CUT? Or do they just keep Taxing people to make up for all THEIR MISTAKES? Then as of December 1st the Service Tax goes into play another 6.35% that Michigan residents will have to pay just to take a Taxi cab, As for Housing market if anyone is looking to buy a house you should be able to offer 30% to 40% below market prices. You'll need to do this just so you can pay all the TAXES

Do you realize the increases we had in tax along with the cuts in the budget is to balance the budget for the fiscal year that started in October 1st? Who knows what will happen next year, what kind of cuts or increases we will see.

My concern isn't bush,it's lansing polititions,my concern isn't the washington elite,it's michigan. My concern isn't dem's or pubby's,it's independent thinking. You have to get your own house in order before you worry about someone elses.

I like how the Democrats are just going to BLOW Michigan off, Even their Great Female Hopeful Hillary said screw Michigan, Boy I guess you Dems can thank Grandhole for their move to stay clear of Michigan, Boy there is some Leadership from your Governor, Isn't it funny how Michigan is in the only State ressession. Why is it everyone outside of Michigan can see it, But the ones in Lansing don't see what they did as a down turn. Maybe since the Governor moved the Primarys up which screwed the State out of being able to see what the Great Democrat party was going to say about Michigan's economy, But I guess they figure Grandhole has us in a deep enough hole now that they didn't need to pile anymore crap on Michigan. I wonder if this will change peoples minds when they Vote for those Democrats,

Actually in the paper this week-end in Ludington it had an article about this very issue. It would seem the real proposal is that it would go out to a vote to reduce some of the new taxes in exchange for an increase in the sales tax. Haven't seen much else of it, so would have to have more information to make an informed decision, but it is NOT a sales tax increase in addition to keeping all the new taxes on services.
