Anyone moving to South Carolina?
Is anyone from Michigan moving (or have moved) to South Carolina -- the Aiken area, in particular?

I almost moved to Aiken, SC. Gorgeous area. Loved it!
Sorry, don't know a huge amount about the area - was only in town a few days.

My husband and I moved from Michigan to Aiken, SC in 1998. We have been here since. My husband teaches 4th grade here. We are looking to move elsewhere though. We have grown tired of it here and want to move on.

No. Did anyone notice they were the #1 state for high school dropouts, with over 51% of their high schools not even graduating 60% of their students.

I'm past the age of having the quality of schools figure into my decision to locate, but I'm sure there are plenty of people who make it a major priority -- as it should be.
