My family and I just moved to Big Rapids. We love the area (the best of both worlds in our opinion) but are still getting to know the region.

Anyone in the area or from the area who would like to share their favorites?

Favorite Doctors?
Favorite Dentist?
Favorite Veterinarian?

Favorite Pizza?
Favorite Restaurant?
Favorite farm stands in the area for fresh produce?

Favorite trails for hiking?

Any local "treasures" we should check out?

Any of the above that you would absolutely avoid for some reason?

Thank you

The river walk area is quite nice. If anyone is passing through the area on a trip and wishes to stop and stretch their legs a bit, it's a good place to do so. Good playground for the kids. Only a couple blocks from downtown.

Agree concerning the river walk. A short drive away is the Croton/Hardy dam area which offers hiking and natural beauty. M-82 several miles east of Newago offers a nice overlook at the roadside park. Sorry I cannot help you with any retail services detail favorites though. Just south of town there is a nice dam too.
