Yeah, but you wouldn't hear stories about it, because the trash would blend in too well...
Their dollar is stronger than ours. The citizens there look out for one another better than people do here. Their people are friendlier and the world doesn't hate them. How is joining Canada not joining a winner?

We'd also have universal healthcare and, heck, we've already got the same climate and institutionlized poverty rate. The real question in my mind is, would Canada touch us with a lead-lined stick!?

Why should Canada be so privileged to get Michigan? I'd rather see us take Thunder Bay from them, in my OPINION. St. Joseph Island, Sarnia, and Pt. Pelee too.

You're a fool.

"keep it pithy, please" /BillOReilly

Well, if Vermont secedes, then Michigan can claim precedent, but the Vermont secessionist logic isn't any better than yours.

I will still check all my replies, but from here on out I will stop posting a thank you comment. You will see fewer of my replies on the same thread to messages, and questions. Due to making new threads, I cannot keep track of each and every message thanking everyone. So thank you everyone who have posted comments and those to come in the future. I look forward to reading you comments but my replies and thank you messages will rarely be seen. (I posted this message due to the fact many people I run into like to see replies from the person who post the thread and see how their comments help the person who posted the thread.)
Thank you -
Moderator please read my reason for editing this thread.
