Question ,did you think this one out very well? Hint, how many guns have been found in the " hands" of the school shooters.? Second question, how often do you actually see shooters use both hands at the same time? ( except in old Westerns) Do they make left hand guns?...( for right handed shooters?)

I tell people to at least take advantage of the your rights, to own a gun and to be able to defend your family. A pump shotgun from the local sporting goods store, and a few boxes of shells. I recommend some buckshot and some number six shot shells. Find someone to take you out and show you how to use the shotgun.
The places where only the police and the government can have arms is the place to fear. You have more to fear and are more likely to get killed driving your car to work than by a gun.
The Nazi's loved how all the Jews were unarmed, my family watched them get marched off to the trains.

I carried everyday in munising (and now in kalamazoo) its better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Guns are fun, I get that Aussies and Brits, most of whom have never touched a real firearm in their lifetimes bought the hoplophobe propaganda and rolled over, can't understand how we like to kick back and have fun at the range or out in the field....but you have to understand that the culture is pretty radically different than where you're from. We do things our way, don't like it? Your free to ship off home anytime you like.

Did you open carry in Munising ? I could see that happening there , just as here in Marquette considering we are surrounded by wilderness. In Kazoo , not so much....it will get you behind bars for sure !.....The problem in this Country is people do not carry guns , except in rare events etc. I would not be so sure about the Aussies , its a big wild country. I am sure those who live and or travel in the outback , the bush , carry guns......Now , I know many out there think all the crock hunters , ( Crocodile Dundee ) got them long knifes and know how to use them. That also may be true......Can you see CD strolling down Park Avenue w/a six shooter on one hip and a long knife on the other ( and in the boot )...no I don't think so.

The way it is now , and the way it was in the lawless 1870s out west are not all that different, there are just too many of gun toter to stop them all. One at a time YES we can do that., and have for a long time now, I know I lived it. ..Examples : Try taking a hind gun into New York State in your big ol' truck, won't work cause first time a trooper sakes you down, well, they WILL find that gun. Try crossing any border with a hand gun, US, Canada< Mexico , you will be on a one way trip ! ...The point is , we are not a gun culture ether , . I think you are more likely to be de guned right here in the good Ol; USA , where you actually have the most fear, on both sides of the isle, than from some over seas Power.

So , buckaroos , next time you strap on the side arm and venture out in public , YOU become a moving target ,! think about that a while , and listen to your Ma, don't take your guns to town .
