As long as we are at it again, an update...... Marquette continues to grow. New theater Complex, Hospital complex has now been decided., breaking ground this fall. ( It will have its own interchange off US 41. Homebuilding continues to grow, especially in the upper middle class areas. prices above 300,000 to 600,000 ). Thats a good sign for everyone, as our most in demand housing shortage comes from arriving professional people . Eagle Mine is in full production ( a truck leaves every 15 min. for the ball mill ) Our additions this and last year retail has been Pet Smart , Makeup chain outlet , clothing store ( chain ) .all three of these are in same mini mall.Mexican resterant , Dairy Queen breaking ground now , and German dining, long term hotel breaking ground , New city office and matainence building starting to build. Art Van Furniture Theres more I can't recall . There are several things on the drawing board , Myers food store, huge Water Park, severall apartment buildings, and more....
