I actually think it belongs on that list. With the sand dunes and islands in the distance, turquoise water, overlooking Fishtown and the harbor... I haven't seen many views better than that in my lifetime. Haven't had the chance to see a sunset there, but I'm sure it's incredible.

Good news for Leland. Of course, those who have been there know it's a wonderful spot to view sunsets. Congrats!! Northern Michigan rocks!!

Well, all up and down the Michigan left coast is a great place....but we can say Leland is the best since it really is a great place.

The other boat cruises stop Last day of Aug & Labor day. I went out on the boat...scared to death. Patch behind my ear & drugs so I wouldn't get sick. But I did it, for my Hubby. I must love the guy to go out on the water. He enjoyed himself. Water & wind was pretty rough that day. I survived it. Water is just so beautiful.
Just wanted to thank you again for your advice & knowledge on MI. It really made our trips there enjoyable. Thanks again for my blue Leland rock

They're nice in Leland, but the Manitou Islands get in the way of the view. I saw one in St. Joseph a few years ago that was very nice, as well as one in South Haven.
