About half that amount was harvested.

And then came a 62 year old guy with a rifle Friday......who thought the woman's dog was a good target. Dog was wearing orange vest , only a few yards ahead of the owner. All this right here in Marquette County and in a residential area. I guess the worst this idiot will get is a small fine for shooting canines out of season.........

This man was not a responsible hunter at all....if he was a hunter......sounds like just an a** hole to me.

What does one do with a dead wolf? Are they served for dinner? Can you make a coat from one wolf? What is the purpose of hunting a wolf?

I'm not pro hunt. If someone is having a problem they can shoot the problem or have someone else shoot it. 'm not into sport killing.

That said,

Anywhere know of a good spot to go in the UP (central, not western) to go out at night and hear wolves? I would love to hear a pack. I'll be around Midway Country store one night and Seney the next, then Paradise.

Killing the wolves in regulated hunts is more predator killing than sport killing.

The population needs controlled.
