Question for the Folks in Bloomfield Hills, MI
I am trying to pick a good location to put a restaurant, it will consist of three levels, a night club, a bar/grill, and fine dining. Would Bloomfield hills be a good location?

Try WEST Bloomfield. Diverse, younger, lots of money, flashier....
The Hills is older, very affluent. Stuffy, conservative. Would never fly there.

Why don't you fix up that black/chrome building on the east side of Woodward Ave, just south of 14 Mile Rd. It seems to fit your needs and you could draw from the Bloomfield, Birmingham, Royal Oak, and Berkley crowd.

That building is gone now. After 15 different attempts at restaurant themes over the last 15 years(including the classic Coney-Seafood place), they've finally razed it. Looks like a non-descript office going up in its place.

yes, it would be a wonderful place. Alot of money old and new in Bloomfield Hills and since the Fox and Hound was torn down there is nothing there. It would be wonderful to have a nice place to go to and not have to go to Detroit.

If you have the money to do that, wouldn't it make more sense to hire professional consultants in order to determine the best location rather than to rely on opinions from discussion forum rabble?
Also, are you sure that it makes economic sense to pour money into a new business like that in the state of Michigan? Michigan is likely to suffer worse than any of the other states and if there is ever a "recovery", Michigan will be one of the last if not the last state to recover. I suggest you do some research and look into states that aren't in such bad shape (Texas, Texas, Texas, Virginia, Nebraska).
