I wish I could say that I was right on your heels, but no, I'm stuck here. Ugh... I should have moved north a few years back when I had the chance!

Downtown could be nice if they'd clean up the area around it. Nasty, dirty houses outline the area. If those folks spent as much time cleaning up their yards and painting their houses as they did sitting on the porch the place would be great.

When you walk around dt, you end up walking into non-welcome looking areas. Right dt is ok, but walk to the edges and it feels like your stepping off into the great abyss that is Lansing proper. (Don't get too close, you'll fall in and never escape.)
