Default MANY years ago in Monroe: do you remember Drouillards restaurant

It's gone now, but Drouillard's restaurant, outside of Monroe, is a huge childhood memory for me. They made their own noodles for the chicken noodle soup -- incredible -- but the big draw for our family was the cheeseburgers. I am trying to find out what kind of cheese it was, as it made limburger seem quite tame by comparison. We called them "stinky cheese sandwiches"! I heard that it was a locally-manufactured cheese from someone, but sure would like to find the real name and whether it is available anywhere.

Thanks!

ok, so I talked to my grandma and she said that they used beer cheese. The factory that the restaurant got their cheese from burnt down, so you probably won't be able to find the exact cheese, but she definitely said it was beer cheese.
