Forest Hills schools are very good. As for where to live, that would put you in the Ada area, which is a great place, lots of kids and extremely safe. I'd also recommend looking into Rockford. They have great schools there too. These places are both about 20 minutes from Grand Rapids, where there are multiple hospitals (thats what a PTA needs, right?) and believe me, there are plenty of trucks in Michigan! West Michigan is a wonderful place to live and grow up, I've lived here my entire life and I love it. Its also very safe and the people are great. As far as snow, you'll get plenty of it no matter where you live. Thats the one thing we can promise as far as weather If you have more questions, let me know!

Is Ada short for something? Because I typed in Ada, MI. Trying to get information on the city. But nothing came up. Or is it just part of the forest hill area. Can someone tell me how to pull Ada up on city-data.com under Michigan.

Muskegon has a crime index rate of 628.2 as compared to the 327.2 US average. Isn't that a lot for the population to be 39,919?

Just google Ada, MI...link is here http://maps.google.com/maps?oi=map&q=Ada,+MI
Ada Township Website: http://www.ada.mi.us/
Cascade Township Website: http://cascadetwp.com/Default.htm
Forest Hills is just the school district...lots of folks mistake it for a city. Most of Forest Hills PS is in Ada and Cascade Township. We used to live in Ada, now we live in Cascade. Both townships are very similar in taxes.
No entry in City-Data on Ada, MI yet...go to Wikipedia.com at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ada%2C_MI
Forest Hills Public Schools website: http://www.fhps.k12.mi.us/
Hope this helps!
