Great place
Some sunny afternoon drive to the old downtown Detroit area and look around, the residential buildings are beautiful tho a bit down at the heel. Then, go to the "Golden Bakery" on Warren Street almost to Dearborn. Fabulous, and I mean terrific, food. Good service and the price is right.

it is a beautiful day today - go outside.
Paczkis* are in season - go to a bakery. (*A dough nut thingy filed with fruit, jelly cream or custard and heavily steeped in tradition).

So jeans you are not satisfied with telling people to waste their money on a michigan home, you want them to have a heart attack also. Nice

WOO HOO, snow is in the forecast! It's been raining since yesterday afternoon. Can't do anything in the rain but you sure can have fun in the snow.
I'm happy to be looking forward to retirement in the UP in 1 1/2 years.
I'm happy there are people on this forum that make me smile.

I could post a positive post every day just by counting the days until I get the family back to the Ludington area. Every day closer is a VERY positive thing.

Another great day in Michigan!.
Stated out almost 50 degrees. I left with no coat (oops).
Sleet in the afternoon and a beautiful very heavy snow in the evening. One of the best snowstorms I have ever seen (sure wished I had that coat though).
Oh and they fixed my truck!
Maybe we can get out for some X-C skiiing this weekend!

I clear the snow myself...free exercise. This winter, I'm it unbelievable shape...LOL
See, glass half full!
Want another positive thing about Michigan that few seem to realize. You don't spend every other weekend hiding in a basement at night in fear of tornados. Dozens and dozens died in the most terrible of ways a few days ago further south in due to tornados...something that virtually never occurs places like West Michigan.

Hey, just flush it while you are in there, put yourself out of the misery.

I am going to Florida on Saturday folks. It doesn't get much better than that. I will do some business there and spend time with my family who lives an hour from me. I am sooo excited. I love the Lord with all my heart and know that he is wherever I am. That is the most exciting part of it all. God is love! I hope this has been something positive for you. God Bless!
